Senscell® can are fully sealed IP67 units and can be used on single battery or strings in any environment where you can use them. Some Class societies demand equipment to be Zone rated in battery rooms, we will have Ex rated version very soon.
The answer depends upon your requirements for sampling to battery condition. Typically, a Gateway can process 300 Senscells (2,400 instruments) in under 5 minutes and is our usual starting point for the architecture design.
Most industrial protocols are supported by our Edge Computing Gateways. As standard we provide volt free contacts for warnings, alarm, beacons or sounders. We can also accommodate Modbus RTU or TCP/IP, CANBus, Profibus or Serial RS232
